Why it matters

Fast resets save energy and avoid heat in technical sections.

Zero → Max progression

• Zero: smooth engine kills while stopped
• Base: safe kills on slope with clutch + rear‑brake hold
• Applied: quick starts on uneven ground without lurching
• Advanced: hill restart sequence (rear brake, clutch, body position, start, drive)

Principles

Sequence beats speed. Stabilize first, then act.

Drills

• Flat‑ground kill/start cycles
• Slope holds with controlled restart

Errors

Releasing brake before balance, panicked throttle on restart.

Safety
